One Year Old

Ryan - You are ONE YEAR OLD!!!!

What have you been up to this past month???

• You weigh 22 lbs (not sure on your length, we will find out at your 1 year check-up)
• You wear size 12-18 month clothes and size 4 shoe
• You are a good eater. You eat table food for lunch and dinner. For breakfast we are working through the last bit of baby food in the house.
• Some of your favorite foods include chicken, hamburger meat, grilled cheese, goldfish, peaches, and pears
• You are completely off formula (praise the Lord) and on whole milk. Tonight you drank your milk from your sippy cup!

• You love to crawl and your getting closer to walking. You cruise around the furniture but crawl when you want to get somewhere fast. I predict you will be walking around 13 months.
• With all the great toys you have your favorite thing to "play" with are the dog cages. You are obsessed with them. And of course you love the dog bowls!
• You continue to be a great sleeper. You still have a morning nap and a two hour afternoon nap.
• You babble and "talk" more and more every day. You love to say da-da. We think we have heard you say "Gracie" a few times, ha!

• You wave, point, reach your hands out and smile all the time
• Everywhere we go people stop me to say how cute and happy you are and I can't help but be so proud. I love that you are a sweet and happy baby.
• You go to bed around 7 and wake up between 7:30 and 8. I am so thankful you sleep so well.
• Happy Birthday to the sweetest little boy I know! We love you so very much!!!

And this is Ryan exactly one year ago today! So hard to believe he was so tiny just one year ago. I can barely remember him being this small. He was so tiny and so sweet. What great memories from those first few days home from the hospital. They were such sweet times but also hard. I wouldn't trade them for the world!
