Sunday morning at church we had Ryan's baby dedication ceremony. For those of you wondering what a baby dedication is...basically we as parents go before the church and dedicate our child to the Lord and promise to raise them in a Godly home. Our pastor said it's more of a parent dedication. We pray that Ryan will seek Him and learn the sweet love of our Lord and Savior.
This is us before church service. Ryan was distracted by the musicians on stage practicing and prepping for service.
We were one of four families dedicating their babies sunday morning. Ryan was the only boy with 3 other girls...already a ladies man! Ha!
Ryan and his daddy! He just lights up with he sees his dadda's face! It's so sweet!
Trying to get a family pic after everyone left and Ryan's nap! He was exhausted after a busy morning.
I got this cake from Servatti's bakery. I would have loved to make his cake but with my family in town and Thanksgiving it would have been a little too much. They did a good job except the polka dots were supposed to be on the side not top of the cake. And the words at the top should have read "I prayed for this child". Oh well, it was still yummy!
I LOVE this pic. I think it's the best pic yet of my mom, Nana, and Ryan. So sweet!
This is our close family friend Gail. She's known Matt since he was a little boy and loves him like her own son. We are so blessed to have her in our life.
Matt's Dad and Stepmom. They love holding Ryan and playing with him. Ryan is so blessed to have such loving and sweet grandparents that are just nuts about him.
Sweet smiley boy!
He had an exciting morning and was wore out by afternoon. He took a great 2 hour nap while we ate lunch.
