Tuesday

This morning I woke up hearing rain and thunder outside. I love sleeping during rain and thunderstorms! We were going to run some errands today but I decided to stay in and just hang out at home. We have stuff planned the rest of the week so I thought today sounded like a good pajama day. These are the days I am so thankful to be a stay at home mom!
We played and even went for a walk this afternoon when Daddy got home.
We are still working on table foods. Some days are better than others. He loves pears, peaches, and chicken. I try to offer him a fruit and veggie at lunch and dinner. We are also working on the sippy cup. Hard to believe that in just a little over a month we will be done with bottles and formula. Ryan will drink from his sippy cup if I'm holding it but he doesn't really like to hold it. He would rather chew on it. We are still working on the which sippy cup works best for him.
I haven't updated my weight lose in a while but I am still losing weight, slowly but surely. I am down 8 lbs from my prepregnancy weight and my goal is to lose 2 more by Ryan's b-day. Once I reach that goal my next goal is to lose 20 more lbs. I'm now doing cardio resistance class twice a week and running three days a week. The hard work is paying off and I feel great!

Have you tried the nuby "flip & sip"? My son would only drink out of the sippy cup if I held it up too, so one day at target I decided to try these. He caught on pretty quickly and they're all we use now.

So, what exactly are you doing to lose so much weight, I really need some pointers? After I had the two miscarriages, I got really depressed and food was my friend, so I am now heavier than I have ever been and am totally disgusted with my body! Please give me some good pointers, I need help!

Wendy, I have been running mostly. After Ryan was born I started running as my workout then in January I added one day of weight training. I've since bumped that up to two days a week. I started running b/c I've heard it really changes your body and honestly, how many runners do you know that are fat, not many! ha! I can really tell my body is shedding the pounds and looking better every day. I think the key is to not give yourself an out. Say you are going to workout that day and do it! Don't talk yourself out of it but set your mind on it. And set aside time to workout. Before the day even begins have in your mind what time you are going to workout and stick to it. I think about when I'm going to workout the day before so I wake up knowing when and what time I'm going to workout. I can be hard to fit it in with kids but for me it's a top priority. Feel free to ask more questions. Good luck!
