13 Months

Ryan - You are THIRTEEN months old today!!!!

What have you been up to this month???

• You weigh 22 lbs and love to eat. You are becoming a better eater every day! Your favorite foods are chicken, grilled cheese, goldfish, cheerios, peaches and applesauce! I love being able to order a kids meal at a restaurant. Makes it so much easier to travel and be out and about.

• You are wearing mostly 12 month clothes but I have recently started putting you in 18 month clothes but the pants are usually big around your small waist.

• You LOVE to crawl all over the place and you are FAST!!! You love to walk around the furniture and walk and push your lion. You will be walking very soon! You can crawl off the chair or couch now and can almost crawl onto the couch.

• You love your big sisters Annabelle and Gracie. You like to "pet" them but I'm not sure they appreciate your kindness. They love to lick you and especially love it when you eat and drop food.

• You are SO social and love when people talk to you. You will get someone's attention and just flash your cheesy smile. You are such a happy boy and are always smiling. You are happy 98% of the day.

• You do really well in the nursery at church and the gym. The workers always tell me what a happy boy you are and how good you are. That makes momma's heart smile! I usually have to sneak away before you see me leave so you don't get upset.

• You are such a great sleeper. You still take two naps a day. You will take a 30-60 min nap in the morning and a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. You sleep around 12 hours each night. You go to be around 7pm and wake up between 8-9am.

• You are getting better with a sippy cup and will drink your milk from one for both lunch and dinner. Still working on your taking one for breakfast. I've found that the Nuby sippy cups you love and it's actually the only sippy cup you will hold on your own.

• You LOVE to play peek-a-boo and patty cake. You love to clap now and when we cheer for you saying "Yay Ryan" you smile so big and clap your hands.

• You favorite toys are your barn, your cozy coup and new go baby go crawl jungle. You just figured out how to get in and out of your car yesterday. You are becoming such a big boy.

I cannot believe how fast you are growing. We are beyond blessed and thank God every day for you! Your bring such joy and happiness to our lives! We love you soooo much!!!
