St. George Island Part 2

Most people have not heard of St. George Island. It's a small secluded island in the curve part of Florida. There are no resorts and only residential homes. It's absolutely perfect for families with small children. Parents of small children know it's hard to eat out with little kids. It was so nice to not worry about eating out on vacation and chilling at home with our friends and their kids. It was also so nice to have the beach ALL to ourselves! We could let the kids run wild and just have a ball!
The kids loved the beach...well all of them except Lillian Grace. She preferred the pool, ha! Ana was fine on the beach until you got her close to the water. She hated putting her feet in the water.

Ryan really enjoyed the beach so much more than he did just 8 months ago when we went to Myrtle Beach. He loved playing in the sand, collecting shells and playing in the water. He would grab my hand and want to get closer and closer in the water.

Eric and Alex were digging in the sand looking for crabs. They never found one but on the last day there was a baby crab that popped up out of the sand right by our beach towels. Alex got to see it but I think the adults were more intrigued.

My beautiful and sweet friends! Love this picture of them and sweet Ana too!

The guys in the water with the babies! Us girls didn't want to get that far in the water. The kids loved it!

My handsome boys!!!

The Weavers

The view of the beach never gets old!

Lillian Grace is just a doll! She is such a good girl. She isn't much for napping but she has the sweetest personality. I loved how she will let you hold her and snuggle and watch a movie! I'm not used to that.

Rachel and Eric before their date night! Don't they look great? It was neat that we got to have date nights while our friends took care of our kiddos. Another perk to going on vacation with friends!!!

The kids loved running on the porch all week which about gave us mom's a heart attack every time but we made sure their bodies couldn't fit through the rails and we always had someone out there with them.

We made cookies with the kids one day. I think this is our first art project at home for Ryan and I. He loved it but he really loved eating the cookie the best! Ha!

Little cookie monster!

Ryan wasn't the only cookie monster!!!
