Days of Summer

The weekend feels like forever ago.  I'm sitting here trying to remember what exactly we did this weekend.  Saturday we loaded up the kiddos and headed to the pool.  The boys had a blast and we all enjoyed getting some sun.

Last week at swim lessons his instructor told us that Ryan does not need to wear a floaty in the pool.  Because he has been wearing a floaty it's his security so when he's a swim lessons he freaks out if he can't touch or goes on his back.  She basically said with the floaty he is undoing everything he is learning in swim classes.  He needs to learn his own boundaries and not rely on a floaty to stay afloat.  Totally get it, so no more floaties for either boy!  So far, so good!

We ate lunch at the pool and came home for naps.  Colton ate this whole container of watermelon.  He LOVES watermelon just like his momma.  Watermelon just spells out summer to me.

The boys looked adorable last week so I had to take their picture before we left for the day.   Can hardly stand that they are almost 5 and 3.  Please stop growing up so fast!

Lastly, I made these adorable camping cookies this week.  I think they turned out super cute.  My favorite was the campfire.
