I heart Chick-fil-A

At least once a week I eat lunch at Chick-fil-A!  Most people that know me know that I love, love, love Chick-fil-A and take every opportunity to talk about it!  There is a new one opening in May near our house!  I can't wait!  I'm tempted to stand in line to be one of the first 100 people in the door to get a full year of FREE Chick-fil-A!  

I saw this HILARIOUS video on a friends blog and I laughed out loud so hard!  I had to watch it like 3 times it was so funny!  I'm sure you will love it too!

Closet Organizer

Saturday we tackled the baby's closet!  We purchased a new closet organizer since the old one was just a single rod/shelf.  We wanted something more useful.  It was a little tricky since we had to take the sliding doors off.  The hardest part was putting them back on.  Took a little longer than we thought but we were pleased with the results!

Here is the before pic after Matt got the old shelf out. 

And here is the new organizer all done but no doors!

And this is the final product (However you can see the huge holes from the old shelf.  Matt spackled and painted those on Sunday so you can't see them anymore!)

We were very pleased at how everything came out!  So much more space to hold all those adorable baby clothes I can't wait to get my hands on!  One more thing check off our list! 

Annabelle turns 4

How cute is she?

Yesterday, March 23rd, Annabelle turned 4!  

I can't believe we have had her almost 4 years now!  She is such a delight in our lives and will always be our "first baby"!  She has settled into being laid back but very lovable!  I can't wait to see how she does with baby Deepe!  

She did get to eat the cupcake, just without the icing!

27 weeks and SPRING is here

Is anyone else excited about SPRING???

I am soooo excited tomorrow, March 20, is the first day of spring!  The weather this week has been marvelous and I have enjoyed every minute of it!  I am looking forward to more walks outside with the girls, cookouts, hearing the sound of neighbors mowing lawns on Saturday morning, spring flowers and budding trees!  I LOVE this time of year!  I am so looking forward to going on sunny walks with baby Deepe this summer!

26 weeks

Thanks to you all for the sweet comments on my last post!  Feels like I'm growing and getting bigger on a daily basis!  So many of you have requested more pics of baby Deepe so here we are at 26.3 weeks!  

We have decided on names!  

If it's a boy his name will be Ryan Samuel and if it's a girl her name will be Sydney Deborah!  We love the names and can't wait to meet either Sydney or Ryan!  

My baby shower is in just 5 weeks and I am soooo excited!  I can hardly wait to see my parents and my bff Rachel and her cutie pie son, Alex!  It's going to be so much fun!!!

100 days

Can it really be true?  Just 100 days til my due date!  Hard to believe Baby Deepe will be here in just a few short months!  WOW!!  Can't wait to meet you baby!

25 weeks

What a great weekend

We had a great weekend!  Friday I decided to go ahead and order our glider from the same place we ordered the baby furniture!  We decided to go with the Best Chairs brand, swivel-arm-chair-glider!  I think we will be really happy with the final decision!  Unfortunately, the store called on Saturday to tell us our furniture was in but we are gonna wait on delivery and see if the glider comes in within the next few weeks so it can all be delivered at the same time!  I'm dying to see our furniture, I can't wait!!!

On Saturday it was absolutely beautiful here!  It was around 75 so we decided to pack up the girls (Annabelle and Gracie) and head to sharon woods park!  It's definitely our favorite park with a 3 mile wooded trail and pond!  They girls had a great time getting out!  I was a little worried they wouldn't make it all the way around since it's been a long time since we had been on such a hike but they did great!  I will say though... they were totally zonked out the rest of the afternoon!  We grabbed some lunch after the park and just enjoyed the beautiful spring day!  I wish every day could be like that!  

Today, we went to church then came home to relax a little bit before heading to our friends' Jim and Sally's for dinner!  We grilled out and it was yummy!  Great fellowship with good friends!  We, of course, watched the Amazing Race after dinner!  It was fun to watch the race with fellow AR fans!  It's all of our favorite show, except for Matt!

All in all it was a great weekend!  I'm so ready for spring and glad it's almost within our midst!  I love this time of year!  Isn't it the best?  Thankfully my allergies haven't caught on that it's springtime...yet!

Pass!

Today I had my 24 week check-up with my doc!  I am excited to report that I passed my glucose test!  WOOHOO!  I was a little worried about this test b/c I LOVE LOVE LOVE sugar and sweets!  Diabetes runs in my family so I had been praying that I didn't have gestational diabetes!  Thank you Lord for answering my prayer!  

While at the dr. they listened for the heartbeat!  Still going strong at about 147 bpm!  And they measured my uterus to see how the baby is growing!  I measured 28 weeks!  Wow!!!  I was not expecting that!  I'm only 24.5 weeks right now!  She didn't say if that means I'm farther along than we thought or if the baby is measuring big!  She said it's nothing to worry about and i'm within the 4 week normal range!  I would have no problems if this baby came early, just not too early!  I know the baby will come when he/she is good and ready!  

Thanks for all the advice on the glider!  It's been very helpful to read all your comments!  I've pretty much decided that we are gonna purchase the swivel arm chair!  I'm hoping that we can order it in the next week or so!
