Weekend Fun!

Well, we had a great weekend! Saturday morning Matt ran the flying pig 10k race! He had to get up at 5:30 in the morning so do say the least I stayed in bed while he went to his race! He said he did "ok" but I'm sure he did very well, better than I could! We finally got our wedding album and were sooooo glad and happy the way everything came out! It looks so wonderful! We can't wait to show it off! Sunday we got Matt measured for his tux for Steve's wedding and then picked out our Mother's Day cards!

This week it's been quit warm around here! It's been so beautiful! Tomorrow Gracie goes in to get spayed! I know it stinks for her but it's for her own good! She will have to stay overnight at the vet so hopefully she will rest and recoperate well! She is also having some blood work dont b/c she is crazy about water! Not just likes water but she is absolutely insane about water! She loves it way too much I feel! She will drink water wherever she can! When I take a shower I have to leash her b/c she will stand at the bottom of the shower door and lick the water! Then she will lick my feet and legs once I get out! She's nuts!!! Hopefully nothing is really wrong with her! Both Gracie and Annabelle are getting the implanted chip in case they ever get lost or anything. I feel better about them having this since we don't have a fence and take them to the park alot! They are so cute and adorable and would never want anything to ever happen to them!

Spring is finally here!

Well, today it is finally warming up around here! A high of 63 is predicted! I am so sick of cold weather and I hope it just gets warmer from here! I am so ready to be outside and take the girls for a walk, ride our bikes and work in the yard!
We had a great time visiting the fam in Memphis over Easter! I got to see my friend Katherine who just had baby Ella in November! She's adorable and just the cutest thing ever! Hard to believe my friends are having babies, kinda crazy!
Matt has been busy doing yard work lately, hopefully it will be warmer for him. Last weekend was so yucky, rainy and cold! It was miserable! I hope this weekend we can get our bikes out and go for a nice ride and take the girls to the park! They love it and have a blast! We are definitely looking forward to this weekend!

New Household Duties in the Spring!

Well Matt and I spent our weekend outside working on the landscaping at our house! We are really enjoying making our house prettier! It will have to come gradually as it's expensive and hard work! We went to the nursery on Saturday to pick our some pansy's, tulips and boxwood shrubs! Matt even got a blueberry tree/shrub! He's really excited about it and hopes to grow some blueberries to eat! He's so funny! I planted some tulips around our tree in the front yard and some pansy's in the front flower beds! Now the only problem is it's supposed to get down in the 20's this week! Yikes!

Breakfast Room Drapes

Some people wanted to see some pics of our new drapes we just had done for the breakfast room so here they are!!! They go great with the yellow walls and look very pretty! I love plaid, I could do the whole house in plaid but I won't, don't worry!

Annabelle and Gracie on Sunday

This past weekend was sooo beautiful. We decided to buy bikes this weekend. We finally feel apart of Loveland since everyone here bikes. We are really excited about biking and it's just a fun thing to do together. After we bought our bikes on Sunday of course we had to take them out on Loveland's bike trail. When we got home I took the dogs in the front yard to take some pics of them. It was such a nice, warm day. You can really see how much Gracie has grown from her previous pics. She is a cutie, trouble but definitely cute trouble! Hope you enjoy the pics!
