Tuesday

 

Someone must have told Ryan that when your turn 4 you no longer have to take naps.  We are going on week two of Ryan not taking a nap.  I put him down when I put Colton down around 1:30 and he is still wide awake at 3pm.  I have been getting him up by 3:00 because I don't want him to sleep too late and not got to sleep at night.  

I guess I have rode the money train as long as I could.  I am still going to have him do at least an hour of quiet time in his bed.  This will give him rest and if he needs a nap he can fall asleep and it will also give me a break.

I'm actually looking forward to spending some one on one time with my sweet first born.  Yesterday we played Candyland and did some puzzles.  Love spending time with him.

Last night I took the boys to Cracker Barrel for dinner while Matt was in class.  I asked Ryan where he wanted to go and that was where he wanted to go.  The boys were so good and ate so well.  

It's amazing how the boys are so good when it's just the three of us.  Anyone else experience the same thing?  I guess its because they don't have to compete for my attention.  

 Today we met up with my friend Jennifer and her three boys, Drew, Zach and Bret.  There was a firetruck and ambulance in the parking lot for the kids to play on and look at.  Of course, all the boys loved it.  We had a great lunch and all the boys had a blast.
