Thanksgiving 2015

What a great Thanksgiving 2015.

Unfortunately Sydney got sick at the beginning of the week and was diagnosed with RSV.  Poor baby was not feeling good at all.  First time baby girl has been sick.

She doesn't look too sick here but I sure do love this sweet expression.  Those eyebrows are so expressive.

I got to attend Colton's Thanksgiving Feast at preschool.  His class were the native americans.  It was so cute and fun

Colton and his little friends Andrew, Olivia and Olivia's little sister.

Ryan had a Thanksgiving program this year for the whole kindergarten.
It was SO cute and adorable.  They sang their little hearts our and had the best time.

My parents came in town to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.

We took them to the Cheesecake Factory Wednesday night.

Matt and his littlest Bengal fan!

I was so excited to use our new dining room.  It was perfect and so nice.  We had a delicious meal and have so much to be thankful for.

The littlest turkey!

Sydney has been sleeping so much but she joined us for a little bit after lunch.

On Friday I took my parents to Uncle Bud's Catfish Cabin.  My family loves some catfish and Uncle Bud's did not disappoint.  Yum!

These two hamming it up.  Man they have the best hushpuppies!  Matt stayed home with Sydney since she was under the weather.

It was a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We have so much to be Thankful for!

8 Months

Sydney - You are EIGHT months old!!!

You weigh 16 lbs.
You are wearing 9 -12 month clothes.
You wear size 2 diapers during the day and size 3 at night.

You wake between 7:30-8am.  You drink a bottle and eat some fruit with cereal.   You take another 6oz bottle at 10am.  You take a morning nap in the car, on the go or sometimes at home.  You eat a fruit or veggie and a 6oz bottle.  You take and afternoon nape around 2pm-5ish.  You eat dinner - a veggie and some of whatever we are having to dinner.  You then take your last bottle around 7pm.

You are a great eater.  You are eating all stage 2 foods and you eat everything we feed you.  You love bananas, carrots, peaches, sweet potatoes, squash and pears in baby food.  You have started eating some real food.  You love cheerios and puffs and yogurt melts.

You are so content and such a happy and sweet baby.  You love to watch whatever is going on around you and don't want to miss anything.

You sit up great unassisted.  You don't need the bobby or a pillow behind you anymore.

You have the sweetest personality and so loving.  You love for me or daddy to hold you.  You hold your sweet little hands up for me to pick you up.

You love when I sing and play songs with you.  You smile so big and laugh.  You love singing and dancing.

You take two daily naps.  You take a 30-60 min nap in the morning (depending on if we are at home or on the go) and a good 2-3 hour afternoon nap.  You go to bed at 7pm and sleep great through the night.  I am SO thankful you are a great sleeper.

You still just have two cute little bottom teeth.

You are pretty easy to take places.  You sleep great in the car, thank goodness, and pretty content being toted around everywhere.

Your brothers love to talk and play with you.  They are so sweet with you and I love watching them interact with you.

I can hardly believe that you are already 8 months old.  Time is just flying by.  I want to soak you in ever day.  It's true what they say, "babies don't keep".  I just want to snuggle you all day and stop time.

You are doing new stuff every day.   You are the sweetest baby girl and you bring us so much joy!  We love you so much and are crazy about you.

36

I turned 36 on November 13!  It's hard to believe I'm getting closer to 40.

I told Matt I just wanted a birthday cake from Puffy Muffin!  They have the best cakes!  It was SO good!

It was a good day, especially because of these sweet fellas!

Matt took me out to an amazing birthday dinner at Bakersfield in downtown Nashville.  It's one of my favorites places.  They have THE best tacos and margaritas in town!!!  Yum yum yum!!!  It was a great dinner!

After dinner we hit up the candy store on Broadway and got a few goodies.  We are both suckers for candy.

Matt found him some tropical necco wafers and I got a caramel apple.

And I couldn't leave out these two cutie pies!  They made my dad pretty special.  Love them to the moon and back!

November Happenings

Our November started off great!  Sydney is growing like a weed!   Ryan loves school and Colton enjoyed playing soccer and preschool.

My parents came for a short visit.  They couldn't wait a few more weeks to Thanksgiving to see Sydney.

Baby Sydney with her GranDad.

We enjoyed a nice visit.

Sydney and one of her favorite big brothers.  They are both pretty crazy about each other.  Ryan requests pictures with her all the time.

Love that beautiful profile!

I sent this picture to Matt saying "can you guess what happened?" Colton got his car stuck in his hair after it says "do not place near hair".  Poor baby!  We managed to get it out with minimal hair cutting.

Ryan bought his very first toy with money he has been saving from his chores.  He went to the store looking for a car carpet but it was not the one he wanted.  He found this cool build your own track with cars.  It was perfect and he was instantly sold.  He was a little hesitant to spend almost all of his money but he was so proud to buy it with his well earned money.

He has LOVED it and plays with it ALL the time.  Best toy ever!
