Five Years

Five years ago today I married my best friend! I had no idea what the next five years of our lives would look like - but it's been better than I could have ever imagined.

Our anniversary is very low key this year since Colton is just 11 days old! Not sure if we are going out this weekend to celebrate but if we don't, we will soon in the future!

Marriage is not easy! It is something you have to work on on a daily basis. It's definitely not roses and romances all the time like I thought when I was single. It takes alot of compromise and sacrifice. But it's so wonderful to have someone by your side who loves you unconditionally and supports you in all you do. It's nice to have someone there to go through the good AND the bad times in life.

We've shared many amazing moments in our five years of marriage. Our marriage has definitely changed since having Ryan and I'm sure it will change even more now with the addition of Colton to our family. I love that we are on this journey together. Matt is such an amazing father and I fall in love with him more when I see him being sweet and loving to Ryan and Colton! I feel SO blessed!!!

Our marriage isn't perfect and it's a work in progress but I wouldn't trade our life for anything in the world. I cannot imagine anyone I would rather spend the rest of my life with than Matt!
